INADA GROUP UNDERBOSS OHGI TAKESHI (仰木 武司)
voiced by Futamata Issei (二又 一成)
Yes, thought Ohgi, he could see now why Yasuoka was so excited over that strange young man. He was far too eager about throwing his life away for nothing, but maybe that was why he shined so very brightly. A man who lived his life like that was rare indeed. Akagi could go far, if only he could be made to care.

Yasuoka calls this guy over for a meal… and to pump him for information on the activities of a certain monstrous old man. Does the aforementioned old man’s hobby of playing high-stakes Mahjong against young outcasts have anything to do with the recent “Vampire Murders”? And would Yasuoka’s good friend Ohgi like to make a huge sum of money betting on a monster of their very own? Well, you know the answer.

This particular group of tattooed gambling house yakuza are most definitely Not Amused by Akagi’s inability to lose. They are even less amused by Akagi’s inability to compromise. WASHIZU IWAO (鷲巣巌)

Oh, this one was young. Young and so very confident. Thought he was good enough to beat him at Washizu Mahjong, did he? Thought he was just a weak old man, did he? Oh no, Akagi, thought Washizu Iwao, you will regret coming here. I will enjoy watching the fear grow in your eyes as your life drains away…

This is the old man that’s been killing young outcast Mahjong players. Driven mad by his success, Washizu has become a monster, obsessed with killing men younger than himself. He resents their youth and doesn’t think that a powerful man like him should die before they do. So he makes them die first. Yasuoka sics Akagi on him, because only a monster can beat a monster. Interesting thinking from a cop.

YOSHIOKA (吉岡)
voiced by Miyake Kenta (三宅 健太)
This white-suited henchman is Washizu’s right-hand man. He organises the old man’s affairs, manages his estate, and probably does a lot of other things, as well. The poor bastard also bears the brunt of Washizu’s rage whenever there are no other targets handy.

SUZUKI (鈴木)
voiced by Morikawa Toshiyuki (森川 智之)
This is another one of Washizu’s underlings. He sits beside the old man while he plays Washizu Mahjong and helps him out as much as he can. Suzuki doesn’t say much. He must be one of those strong, silent types.
